Reflections on Adventure

The Crew of Death Valley v2.0 -- (Left to Right: Taja, Katie, Taylor, Austin, Matt, Preston, Dano, Andrew, Heather, Dave, Alan, Kristen, Gina)

It just so happens that in the course of any given life, we may intersect with any number of incredible people, inspiring places, magnificent events and so on. At this point in my career with The Visual Collective I feel that we have built a house where those sorts of occasions exist naturally, without provocation or an invisible hand moving them. The folks pictured above represent some of the kindest, most talented, curious, open-minded, honest, creative, amazing and exceptional people I've yet to meet. This group of people spent their weekend spanning March 9 through March 12 traveling alongside each other, learning from one another, benefitting from the environment those people and places inadvertently create. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of you out on the road soon.

The Visual Collective is revising this year's adventure itinerary as I will be undergoing reconstructive knee surgery later this month. We are pushing the Havasupai and Bright Angel trips off this year's schedule and will be backfilling with more affordable and less strenuous adventures in the coming days. Zion (July) remains on schedule and will be filling up quickly. Please visit the 'Adventures & Events' tab to get the full rundown of upcoming trips and free local workshops!

Best Regards & Stay Well,
Andrew
